HEATHER URBAN DESIGN

Heather Urban is a DC-based artist, designer and art advisor. For the past 25 years, Heather has been immersed in the Contemporary Art World building contemporary art collections for her clients and designing private contemporary art tours for Members of the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Menil Collection, Art Insitutute of Chicago,......with her own company Urban Art Access.

Over the last several years, Heather has focused her passion into decorating homes, designing functional spaces and advising on art purchases. Now she has launched Heather Urban Design to help others who want assistance with a simple refresh or managing a large project with multiple contractors. 

 

She holds a B.S. in Painting and Metalsmithing from Skidmore College, a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and Advanced Studio Painting from Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Urban has works in art collections in Colorado, Chicago, Washington, DC and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.
